Quantum and Classical Hybrid Generations for Classical Correlations

چکیده
We consider two-stage hybrid protocols that combine quantum resources and classical to generate correlations shared by two separated players. Our motivation is twofold. First, in the near future, scale of information processing quite limited, when resource available not sufficient for certain tasks, a possible way strengthen capability schemes introducing extra resources. analyze mathematical structures these protocols, characterize relation between amount needed. Second, fundamental open problem communication complexity theory describe advantage sharing prior entanglement over randomness, which still widely open. It turns out our provide new insight into this important problem.

Classical, quantum and total correlations
We discuss the problem of separating consistently the total correlations in a bipartite quantum state into a quantum and a purely classical part. A measure of classical correlations is proposed and its properties are explored. متن کاملQuantum correlation without classical correlations.
We show that genuine multiparty quantum correlations can exist on its own, without a supporting background of genuine multiparty classical correlations, even in macroscopic systems. Such possibilities can have important implications in the physics of quantum information and phase transitions.

A hybrid formalism is proposed for interacting classical and quantum sytems. This formalism is mathematically consistent and reduces to standard classical and quantum mechanics in the case of no interaction. However, in the presence of interaction, the correspondence principle is violated. PACS numbers: 03.65.Bz, 03.65.Sq ∗ Electronic mail: [email protected], [email protected]
متن کاملUnified view of quantum and classical correlations.
We discuss the problem of the separation of total correlations in a given quantum state into entanglement, dissonance, and classical correlations using the concept of relative entropy as a distance measure of correlations. This allows us to put all correlations on an equal footing. Entanglement and dissonance, whose definition is introduced here, jointly belong to what is known as quantum disco...
متن کاملMonogamy properties of quantum and classical correlations
In contrast with entanglement, as measured by concurrence, in general, quantum discord does not possess the property of monogamy; that is, there is no tradeoff between the quantum discord shared by a pair of subsystems and the quantum discord that both of them can share with a third party. Here, we show that, as far as monogamy is considered, quantum discord of pure states is equivalent to the ...
